Our Chiropractic Process
At M.C. Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Clinic, we want every new patient to feel welcomed, informed, and confident from the very first visit. Our new patient experience is designed to be smooth, thorough, and personalized.
Step 1: Welcome and Registration
When a new patient arrives, they are greeted by our team and guided through the intake process, including basic paperwork, health history, and insurance or visit information.
Step 2: Consultation
Dr. Maxene Canton takes time to listen carefully to the patient’s concerns, symptoms, pain areas, lifestyle, and health goals. This helps us understand not only what is hurting, but how it is affecting daily life.
Step 3: Examination
A thorough physical and chiropractic evaluation is performed to assess posture, movement, spinal alignment, muscle tension, and areas of discomfort. If needed, additional findings are reviewed to better understand the condition.
Step 4: Personalized Care Plan
Based on the consultation and examination, Dr. Canton explains the findings and recommends a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s specific needs. We make sure patients understand their condition, treatment options, and expected next steps.
Step 5: First Treatment
In many cases, patients may begin care on the first visit. Treatment may include a chiropractic adjustment and, when appropriate, supportive therapies such as EMS, ultrasound therapy, HydroMassage, intersegmental traction, or cold therapy.
Step 6: Education and Next Steps
Before leaving, patients receive guidance on what to expect after treatment, recommendations for recovery, and scheduling for follow-up care if needed.
Step 7: Ongoing Support
Our goal is to track progress, adjust care as needed, and help each patient move toward less pain, better mobility, and improved overall wellness.
