Pain, Injury & Mobility Conditions Treated in Newark, DE
Evidence-informed chiropractic and rehabilitative care for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions
Pain may be common, but it is not something you should have to ignore, push through, or accept as your normal. When pain starts affecting how you move, work, sleep, exercise, or get through the day, it is a sign that something needs attention. At M.C. Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Clinic, we take a personalized, whole-body approach to treatment that looks beyond temporary relief. Our focus is on understanding what is causing the problem, improving how your body functions, and helping you move toward lasting recovery with treatment that fits your needs. From back pain and neck pain to disc injuries, sciatica, joint stiffness, sports injuries, whiplash, and chronic pain, we treat a wide range of conditions with honest guidance, supportive care, and long-term results in mind.

Relief from Pain. Better Mobility. A Clear Path to Recovery.

How Our Newark Chiropractor Treats Pain, Injuries, and Mobility Issues
At M.C. Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Clinic, we do not treat every condition with the exact same formula. Whether you are dealing with back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, whiplash, disc issues, joint stiffness, sports injuries, or chronic pain, our first step is to understand what is causing the problem and how it is affecting your movement, comfort, and daily life. From there, we build a personalized treatment plan designed to reduce pain, improve mobility, support healing, and help you get back to doing the things you enjoy with more confidence. Our approach focuses on whole-body recovery, not quick temporary relief.
Treatment may include a combination of:
- Chiropractor adjustments
- Rehabilitation exercises
- Massage therapy
- Spinal decompression therapy
- Chronic pain management
- Posture correction
- Sports injury therapy
- Auto injury and whiplash treatment
- EMS therapy
- HydroMassage therapy
- Intersegmental traction table therapy
- Therapeutic ultrasound
- Cold pack therapy
- Wellness and preventive treatment
By combining hands-on chiropractor treatment with rehabilitative support and advanced recovery modalities, we are able to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions in a way that is specific to the patient, not just the diagnosis. Our goal is to help you feel better, move better, and stay better over time.
Our Chiropractic Process
At M.C. Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Clinic, we want every new patient to feel welcomed, informed, and confident from the very first visit. Our new patient experience is designed to be smooth, thorough, and personalized.
Step 1: Welcome and Registration
When a new patient arrives, they are greeted by our team and guided through the intake process, including basic paperwork, health history, and insurance or visit information.
Step 2: Consultation
Dr. Maxene Canton takes time to listen carefully to the patient’s concerns, symptoms, pain areas, lifestyle, and health goals. This helps us understand not only what is hurting, but how it is affecting daily life.
Step 3: Examination
A thorough physical and chiropractic evaluation is performed to assess posture, movement, spinal alignment, muscle tension, and areas of discomfort. If needed, additional findings are reviewed to better understand the condition.
Step 4: Personalized Care Plan
Based on the consultation and examination, Dr. Canton explains the findings and recommends a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s specific needs. We make sure patients understand their condition, treatment options, and expected next steps.
Step 5: First Treatment
In many cases, patients may begin care on the first visit. Treatment may include a chiropractic adjustment and, when appropriate, supportive therapies such as EMS, ultrasound therapy, HydroMassage, intersegmental traction, or cold therapy.
Step 6: Education and Next Steps
Before leaving, patients receive guidance on what to expect after treatment, recommendations for recovery, and scheduling for follow-up care if needed.
Step 7: Ongoing Support
Our goal is to track progress, adjust care as needed, and help each patient move toward less pain, better mobility, and improved overall wellness.
